Rory Matthews is Partner in Deloitte’s Health Practice and focusses on business strategy and performance. His passion is making change happen by collaborating with diverse groups of leaders, clinicians, whānau and communities to develop practical solutions to complex systemic problems. Rory’s experience is shaped by collaboration with the health sector for over 20 years on facilitation, strategy, performance improvement, data and digital, and service design. He is particularly adept in partnering with wide groups of stakeholders holding diverse opinions to galvanise projects, embed buy-in and achieve sustainable outcomes.

Over his career, he has worked at both operational and strategic levels with most of the DHBs, the Ministry of Health, ACC and the HQSC as well as many PHOs, Regulators, Professional Bodies and the private sector.
