Jehan Casinader
Journalist & Mental Health Advocate
Jehan Casinader is an award-winning journalist, speaker, and mental health advocate.
He was named “Reporter of the Year” at the New Zealand Television Awards, and “Best Political Columnist” at the Voyager Media Awards. In the aftermath of natural disasters, terror attacks, sporting triumphs and everything in between, Jehan has helped hundreds of Kiwis to share their inspiring, deeply personal stories. Now, he teaches audiences about the power of storytelling, and is a respected thought leader in the areas of mental health, leadership and workplace culture. In 2020, Jehan opened up about his journey through depression and suicidal thoughts, in a book called “This Is Not How It Ends: How rewriting your story can save your life” (HarperCollins). Last year, Jehan spoke to us about how we can find “common ground” with people who are different to us. In 2025, he is delighted to return to our conference – this time as our MC. |
