Dr Jonathan Coates is a partner at Claro, as specialist health sector law firm.  He has extensive experience in all areas of health law and in the legal issues facing the health sector.  Jonathan has provided legal services to private surgical hospitals for over 20 years.  Jonathan’s practice is a mix of litigation and advisory.  He has appeared as senior counsel in many significant cases that affect the health sector. 
Jonathan’s PhD thesis examined the regulation of health professionals and health services, and considered the role that the law can play in improving the quality of health services.
